GRADES

Two of the most common grades of stainless steel are 304 and 316. 304 and 304L are the most regularly used grades for stainless steel angle bars as they offer excellent corrosion resistance to different industrial settings. 304 has good formability and can be easily welded by all common techniques, while also maintaining its durability. For coastal and marine environments, grades 316 and 316L are often favoured due to their superior corrosion resistance and are particularly effective in acidic environments. Stainless steel grade 316 is stronger and less malleable than 304, with the ability to maintain its properties in cryogenic or high temperatures.
